Tear of Loorim
The Origin of Life
The Tear of Loorim is the central focal point for Loorim, Rine, Chazo, and the universe as we know it. Through the Tear, all life flourishes and achieves balance as attended by the Titans and the Gods.
History
The Tear of Loorim is a relic from the old world, Antioq, and is named for the very goddess it came from. It is the sole remaining relic from Antioq and the Yami Wars.
The gods, finding the location of Rine to be suitably far enough from Antioq, funneled their powers into the Tear, activating it in a massive burst of creation, which formed the world Rine, with the Tear at its center.
During the War of Angels, Loorim was almost compromised by a fallen corruptive structure of Fragen that had fallen to the surface of the planet and grown towards Loorim. Before Loorim could be stolen by Fragen’s angels, one of the gods funneled their entire being into the Tear. This act sundered the world into each floating continent, purified the creeping Fragen infestation into its crystallized form (forming what we now know as Hollowpoint, and created the Titans as guardians for each remaining continent.
In the Second Age of Peace, the remaining gods once again funneled their power into the Tear, creating the realm Loorim within the realm of Rine, to keep it safe from outside influences. The Tear resides within Loorim to this day, which is now also surrounded by the realm Imagma.
Significance
The Tear is a consolidated object of pure divine creation energy. Unlike most gods, which require followers to maintain power and relevance, Loorim’s Tear is self-sustaining and perpetual. Also unlike the gods, it has neither desire nor a mind of its own, existing purely as a catalyst for creation.
