Construction of Beldwisön‘s Observatory

Construction beginning/end

The DRG constructed the Observatory at their new outpost, Beldwisön, so they could better observe the planet’s core and the Cherufe.

Construction on the Observatory came both as a means to research The Molten Sick affecting the core’s titan, as well as a desire to understand the nature of their shattered world.   Construction was primarily funded by the Kesserich‘s family funds in the beginning, as the surrounding area was not immediately noted to have any useful materials for trade. The expedition was politely regaled by other dwarven families, however quietly there was much talk about the precarious nature of such an undertaking. Whether they were aware or ignorant, the Kesserich’s luck changed when they found veins of valuable minerals and ores nearby while expanding to make room for the observatory and their new guild headquarters. With a fresh source of valuables to barter and trade for supplies and pay for additional hands, construction was able to continue at an impressive pace.
