Belor Hemlock
Sheriff Belor Hemlock (a.k.a. Sheriff Hemlock)
Belor Hemlock became sheriff 5 years ago, after the previous one was murdered by Chopper. Belor was the one who came upon the act and lead the charge against Chopper, which is why the it was felt he was best to take over the position. He became the first Shoanti sheriff in town.
Over the last few years he has developed a relationship with Kaye Tesarani. They both would appreciate it being more secretive than it is but secrets are hard to keep in such a small town.

He has a brother, Garridan Viskalai, that runs The White Deer with his own family. The brother have had a strained relationship since Belor became sheriff.
Their parents left their Shoanti tribe to settle in Sandpoint.
