Elloreni the Elder
Elloreni the Elder, Elloreni Qor'Zavë in Tretalleri, was a tretallë who experienced firsthand many of the historical events that inform the values of the Dominion and Deýliri society.
Elloreni was the last of the elven Perpetuals—elves blessed with seemingly-indefinite lifespans—besides the Prophetess Llyrileýwa herself. He was born at some point before the collapse of the Aenevë civilization, and was present for the era of increasing societal turmoil as the population of Perpetuals gradually declined.
Elloreni was present when the worship of the Three-faced God first took root, and he was there to witness people abandon the old ways in droves. He lived through the era of apartheid against his kind—elves born pale unlike the others—and the outright slavery that followed. When the Pale God came to them to deliver them from their bondage, Elloreni picked up the sword and fought for their freedom.
When the empire of the Aenevë fell, Elloreni was one of the survivors left with nowhere to do, and no purpose to pursue than to live. He saw the beginning of the diaspora, as his people scattered across Di'Termalttë to chart a future for themselves, and he was there at the end when the ambitious Cilritanë a'Detvida forged the tretâllë into a unified empire that would stand the test of time.
It was many long years afterwards that Elloreni would succumb to Heartfading, the bane of Perpetuals since the beginning of time. He'd lived a long life—many long lifetimes. When he realized that his time was coming to join the friends and loved ones he'd lost along the way, he did one last service for the Dominion in the hope that it might avoid the fate of the civilizations that had preceded it: he wrote about his life and all that he had experienced.
To this day, the Testament of Elloreni the Elder is one of the most important historical works in the Dominion.
