Madame Elene's Fortuna Cirque
Madame Elene's Fortuna Cirque is a Perovyan travelling circus troupe consisting entirely of robotic performers.
History
Madame Elene's was a touring circus troupe owned by Lagunov Robotics which relied on robotic performers built by the company. The company was named after the founder of Lagunov Robotics, Elene Lagunov.
Madame Elene's Fortuna Cirque was founded in 2818 and quickly shot to the top of Perovyan entertainment. Even though it was intended to just be used for small performances for children, Madame Elene's was the first of it's kind in robotic sourced entertainment. The troupe would perform on television and make appearances on talk shows and interviews allowing them to bolster their popularity with an older audience in addition to young children. Madame Elene's flourished between 2818 and 2822, where they were responsible for 20% of Lagunov Robotics' total income.
Disbandment
After 2822 the performers became outdated no longer shining in comparison to newer models of mundane robotics causing interest in the troupe to steadily decline. By 2930 the robotics were so outdated they were nearly considered antique. Even with the declining interest in the troupe, Madame Elene's continued to perform in smaller and smaller regions; once an international band of performers, they soon became confined to Yankovo Perovye, then to Stanovaya. By 2835 the once prosperous circus troupe were only ever performing private shows by appointment.
Additionally, due to their declining popularity Lagunov Robotics slowly stopped performing maintenance. One by one the performers would break down and no workers would be dispatched to repair them. By 2836 the only performer still in working contition was the headliner M4-YU, popularly known as Mayumayu. Having overheard a conversation between two Lagunov executives discussing finally decommissioning them, Mayumayu fled to Riza in mid January of 2836, leading to the official disbandment of Madame Elene's Fortuna Cirque Elene's Fortuna Cirque.
