The Celestial Rift

While the battle originally started on the Plane of Souls, Kova would soon bring the war to Ro'Kroya as he was beginning to lose. It is written that the Celestial Rift War, crossed the planes roughly 16,000 years before the Dragon Onslaught. It was during this time, Kova enslaved the Valenari to attack settlements on Eroth. Drawing power from the chaos and destruction, he turned the tide of battle against his Children and was on a winning path...
We were woken in the dead of night as the loudest thunder I've ever heard pounded our ears and shook this very land. Rocks the size of our temple fell from the sky onto the mountain side in a blaze of light that lit up the night like a midday sun.

The Celestial War spilled into Ro'Kroya, wreaking untold havoc upon its innocent inhabitants. Where once there were thriving cities, now lay smoldering ruins; the once-verdant forests stood charred, and life-giving rivers withered into barren creek beds. The inhabitants of Ro'Kroya, loyal to the divine siblings, rose against Kova's forces in a desperate attempt to salvage their world from destruction. The Mortals labeled this catastrophe the Celestial Rift, a conflict that marred their world and etched itself into the annals of history.   As the battles raged, Aaos, Mel-E'na, and Vedomma conjured a perilous plan to save their world. They seized Kova, trapping him within a magically warded orb. However, this victory would come at a grievous price. The gods had to relinquish their consciousness, succumbing to a profound slumber until they were reawakened.   The divine siblings, entrusting their souls to their faithful followers, commanded the creation of a magnificent temple, each corner adorned with statues embodying their divine likeness. Their souls, encased in gems, were imbued into the statues. Completing this ritual demanded the ultimate sacrifice from their devotees, who willingly embraced their fates, knowing they served a purpose far greater than themselves.   It would be thousands of years before they would return: The Return
