Kaito Shigure
Shigure is the youngest boy of the triplets born to Usagi Yoko and Kaito Ju'nichi. He is trained in the way of the forester, and spends a lot of his time among the lower classes for this reason. He's got a penchant for his dad's tomfoolery, but is otherwise quite sweet.
He went to Summer court, a small play on Winter Court that was there to teach the young, newly adult samurai how to perform, but didn't do much there. He later met Yasuki Aika at a party where a Yogo woman wanted to make deals with both him and her. He had already caught scent of her at Summer Court, but this was an opportunity for him to be close to her individually. He didn't spend a lot of time at the party, instead trying to solve a local problem for the peasantry of the town, who were being ignored by their Governess, but did go in enough to recognize that they all had been drugged.
Did he fix that? No. Did he blackmail the drugmaker to get the drug? Yes. The drug was an act of rebellion against the oppressive Samurai in the township--a humiliation prank to get back at a woman who didn't care about her people. It was not important to Shigure to stop that--he made sure that they had no intention of using it on their peers and the innocent, and went along on his way.
He didn't mind the opportunity to take advantage of the Yasuki girl he had eyes for, though.
He maybe got her pregnant, which became a bit of a concern when she headed off and didn't know, so he followed her to Toshi Josho, and helped her there, waiting for the opportunity to slip her a morning-after drug to fix his mistake, and maybe to court her in a more official kind of way.
