Toku Aito

The single child of Toku Senzan and Toku Sayaka, Aito was raised with too many siblings to count. Inside of Otosan Uchi, where his parents all but lived, there was a brood of kids. Although only Kimiko was his true sister, the rest were as close as family, and he treated the entire council and upper echelons of the Spider Clan as uncles and aunts.
Aito was a strong boy who went out to learn how to be an Emerald Magistrate even before his friends; although he ended up working alongside them later, he had already experienced his share of heroism in his young life. He had gotten into scraps with bandits and curs to protect local townsfolk, and earned himself a wicked scar on his face that he was quite proud of for it.
When he went to train officially with Otomo Nobuko in tow, he wasn't aware he'd fall for her. They had been raised together since children, after all, and she was a bit of a nonsensical brat. It was years of working together before he admitted to having feelings for her, after rescuing her and being rescued by her so many times.
They did eventually get married, and gave birth to twins. A second attempt at a child ended in disaster, and Nobuko nearly died. They didn't try again after that.
