Yasuki Genki
Yasuki Genki is the eldest son of Yasuki Kaoru and her husband by political marriage. He served his time on the wall and was shortly thereafter assigned as the personal Yojimbo to Yasuki Aika, his mother's chosen heir and his cousin (though she is technically his aunt, the age similarity has lead to referral as cousin primarily).
Genki is a smart boy whose anxieties around failing his family lead him into crazed heroism. He will rush out to rescue someone in distress without a second thought. These proclivities lead him into close proximity with Shinjo Yamasaki, a young unicorn samurai who has little status but a powerful call to the spirits she seems to have been born with.
Yamasaki and Genki have hit it off well so far, with Genki taking an interest in the much lower status'd girl than him.
