Draken's Aegis
Draken's Aegis is a marvel of Dragonborn architecture, a grand structure that perfectly encapsulates the ancient traditions and advanced technology of Aikibira. This majestic palace is situated in the Yrthok'ash district, one of the most vibrant parts of the city.
The palace is characterized by soaring towers, their spires reaching for the sky like the proud necks of dragons. Each tower is crowned with a sculpture of a Dragon in various states of flight, their wings spread wide and their eyes studded with glowing gemstones. These dragons not only represent the Dragonborn who live within the palace but also serve as a reminder of the island's mythical origins.
The walls of Draken's Aegis are constructed from a unique stone found only in Aikibira, which gleams Silver under the light of the sun and Moon. Intricate carvings cover every inch of the palace's exterior, telling the stories of the Dragonborn's ancient history and King Telmos's long rule.
The palace's main entrance is a massive, arched gateway guarded by two towering statues of Dragonborn warriors. Above the entrance, a large emblem of a dragon encircling a fountain symbolizes the life-giving power of Vaelyx'urth and the continuous protection offered by King Telmos.
Inside, the palace is a labyrinth of halls and chambers, each adorned with masterful works of art and ancient artifacts. Central to the palace is a grand courtyard with a miniature replica of the Vaelyx'urth, a constant reminder of the source of their vitality and longevity.
In essence, Draken's Aegis is not just a palace; it's a testament to the enduring strength and heritage of the Dragonborn and the rule of King Telmos Draken Xargrax.
