Northwestgate is a bustling district where three distinct areas of Tatharia Capitolina converge. Named after the straightforward gate that marks its entrance, Northwestgate is known for its diversity, with each of its sections offering a different glimpse into the vibrant life of the city. The neighborhoods blend together in a lively mix, from the impermanent structures outside the gate to the historic Old Side and the affluent Uptown. Industry & Trade

1. Outside the Gate

2. Old Side

   This neighborhood is the edge of a historical core of Tatharia Capitolina, originally one of the three founding settlements of the city. The buildings are aged but sturdy, made of stone and weathered wood, and the streets are narrow, winding through a labyrinth of history. The shops in Old Side offer more specialized goods, often reflecting the long-standing traditions and crafts of the area. 3. Uptown

   The northern section of Northwestgate is the southwest edge of Uptown—a wealthy, refined neighborhood filled with large, well-maintained buildings and high-end shops. 4. The Hidden Reed: Also located in Uptown, this music store offers rare and enchanted instruments. Melodine Windwhistle, a former traveling Bard, runs the shop with charm and often entertains customers with impromptu performances.


5. Traveler's Boon: Located outside the gate, this shop offers non-magical trinkets, charms, toys, and collectibles. Run by Rajeet Nendi, the shop is a lively and colorful place, full of charm and wonder for both children and adults alike.


6. Antiquarian's Alcove: Nestled in Old Side, this shop deals in old maps, ancient scrolls, and historical artifacts. Run by the elderly couple, Elbert and Thalia Varis, it offers a glimpse into the city’s past for those willing to listen to their tales.
