Description

Professor Barreus Blackstone sized up his Slam Poetry class with a smirk and his arms crossed. His class covers how words can be used to tear somebody's soul apart right down to the bone. The final exam involves the students roasting Blackstone himself. Overall, his personality is nearly opposite that of his old friend, Mavinda Sharpbeak. He has a bit of a rivalry with Professor Helioz Sunmane who teaches Intro to the Magic of Compliments.

Year 1 Involvement

Shelley impressed Professor Blackstone in Slam Poetry, by managing to successfully roast him in the very first class. He referred to this as the "bravest thing [he's] ever seen a first year do in [his] classroom". Shelley impressed him further during the final exam, in which they not only roasted the professor, but did so with his virtue name, earning them extra credit.
