The Immortal Wars were a series of conflicts that took place in the land of Rondo over a period of more than 100 years. These wars were characterized by a series of mysterious skirmishes, wars, and disasters that seemed to have a hidden agenda. It was later discovered that these wars had been manipulated by two individuals known as the Immortals. The exact nature of their involvement is unclear, as some records claim that they were litches while others suggest that they were either a litch or a divinely blessed individual, depending on the observer's faith.
There were many smaller conflicts within the Immortal Wars, including:
Notable Conflict 1:
Details about this conflict are scarce, but it is believed to have involved a group of adventurers who were able to defeat a powerful undead army that threatened to overrun the countryside. The exact details of how this group achieved such a feat are unknown, as no one has ever been able to provide credible evidence of their involvement. There were rumors that the infamous "Red Wanderer" was among their number, or that he accomplished the feat alone, but these claims are difficult to believe given the disputed existence of the Red Wanderer.
Notable Conflict 2:
This conflict was characterized by a series of magical duels between two powerful spellcasters, one of whom was rumored to be a vod-blessed individual. The exact nature of their disagreement is unknown, but the duels were said to be intense and destructive, causing widespread damage to the surrounding area.
Notable Conflict 3:
This conflict involved a grand battle that took place in a dungeon known as "Litch's Stand." When a detachment of mounted cavalry and mage guards from the Trivin capital city of Citium arrived at the location of the final battle, they found an army of undead completely destroyed on the ground. The remains of the undead army were said to be a grisly sight, with mountains of skeletons, mounds of decomposing flesh, and abominations of combined dead creatures that haunted the dreams of those who saw them. Upon entering the dungeon, the Trivin forces found nothing but death and ruin. According to their analysis, as few as one or as many as six individuals had entered the dungeon and wiped out an army of undead that would have slaughtered half the countryside and heavily maimed the Grand Trivin Army, potentially leading to the collapse of Trivin as its neighbors descended upon them like savages.
The trivin grand general (a now defunct title as all ruling monarchs of Trivin are the grand general now) assembled a quick reaction force of mounted calary and a detachment of Mage guards from citium. They March on the location of the final battle hoping to put an end to all the bloodshed that the king of trivin didnt order. They found the sight of the final battle what is now know as litch's stand. To find an army of undead destroyed on the ground, mountains of skeletons, mounds of decomposing flesh, and abominations of combined dead creatures making crymeric monstorsies that haunt mens dreams.
They preceded into the dungeon to find nothing but death and ruin from their analysis as few as 1 a maximum of 6 individuals entered the dungeon and wiped out an army of undead that would have slaughter half the countryside and heavy maimed the Grand Trivin Army leading to the collapse of trivin as our neubours decend upon us like the savages they are.
How such a band of few ached this is unknown as no one ever could provide credible claim of a complement that they were the one to accomplish it.
There were rumours that the red wandering was among the group or that he did it alone but that even the existence of the Red Wander is disputed makes these claims hard to believe.
The Grand general found at the last room of the dungeon a dessicated corpse of a strange creature, humanoid but bizarre being. The researchers at Trivin could not identify the original race of the Litch king Mezmadrid one of two mastermind behind the immortal wars. With its death his enemy seemed content as no further action could Be linked to the other immortal, other believe he perished as well from some contingency plan from the dead litch king Mezmadrid but nothing was ever proven . This event marked the end of the Immortal Wars, which lasted from 501 AWW to 612 AWW. The exact circumstances of Mezmadrid's death are still unknown, and there are theories that his enemy, the other immortal involved in the wars, also perished as part of some intricate plan.
