Yagenol (a.k.a. The guardian of the skull)

The guardian of the skull

A mythical creature from Ruggantu's mythology who served as guardian of Serpentus skull. The skull has power to create and destroy a new planet, and Yagenol will appear when it becomes necessary to destroy or create a planet for the Nanomages. 
According to legend, Yagenol has already appeared and those who saw him describe him as a large canine monster with gray skin, carrying Serpentus skull. No one knows why he appeared at that time, even if it was true. However, our mythologists tell this information.

Appearance

Mythologists describe him as a tall, huge creature with a dog's head. He has gray-black skin, long and large ears, bright blue eyes and gray-blond hair.  Metaliron's "armor" is under his ears. 
His hands are long, muscular and smoothly fade into the invisible. If he needs, his hands will appear, and 4 large claws will appear. 
It has 3 long, armored and pointed tails, reminiscent of the human spine. He clutches skull in hir claws to protect and draw strength from. It is about 5 meters high.

Skull and its powerful power

The skull of the Creator is said to hide his entire power. The combination known from The legend of Serpentus, the creator of Ruggantu.
If the skull came into the wrong hands, such as the Macromages, it would have catastrophic consequences.
The power hidden inside the skull is able to take and give life, create and destroy planets. It gave life to Yagenol, who became addicted on its power. He still has the skull with him and feeds on its power. 
Nanomagia from skull is stronger than today's most powerful Arcinanomage. None of the Nanomages could bear this power. If one of the Nanomags touched the skull, the force would engulf him and become Nanofog.

Good and evil

No one knows exactly whether Yagenol is evil or good, and whether it exists at all.  But, both variants are possible. 
If Yagenol is evil, he could connect with the Macromages and destroy the entire planet and the entire Nanomagas. 
If he is on our side, he will help when the planet is on the brink of its forces and need the help of a higher power. 
Nanomags are divided into two groups, those who fear Yagenol and treat him as a destroyer.  And the Nanomags who worship him as God and hope for his help.

Personal history

Yagenol is said to have appeared at the birth of the planet, is said to be something like a God who offered to Serpentus to protect his remains and help the planet when needed. Obviously not for free, Serpentus had to go around half of his remaining life, believing Yagenol not to use his power to destroy the planet.  They made a deal.  Yagenol disappeared and apparently appeared for one unknown reason.  After Serpent's death, Yagenol took charge of the skull, and the power of the Creator.
