Gem Towers of the Sultans

The Gem Towers of the Sultans are widely known for their unique and unparalleled knowledge of the elemental planes. Each tower is dedicated to a different elemental plane and is a hub of research, experimentation, and study in that particular field. The towers are named after precious gems, Sapphire Tower for the Elemental Plane of Water, Ruby Tower for the Elemental Plane of Fire, Emerald Tower for the Elemental Plane of Earth, and Amethyst Tower for the Elemental Plane of Air. The Gem Towers are highly exclusive institutions and admission is only granted to the chosen few who are deemed worthy by the Sultans. The exclusivity of the Towers has resulted in a culture of secrecy and mystique around them, with many outsiders only having heard whispers of their true knowledge and power. Despite the Sultans' secrecy, the Gem Towers continue to attract the most talented and dedicated scholars and mages from across the land seeking knowledge and mastery of the Elemental planes.
The Gem Towers are found with the Atarsid Isles, more specifically the Sapphire, Ruby, Emerald, Amethyst Towers found within the Atarsid City-States of Kinmay, Yamathrib, Kaihaba, and Myhab respectively.
