Warmother
A Warmother is a Freljordian tribal leader in charge of insuring the safety, security and survival of their people. While anyone can claim the title of Warmother, it has traditionally been hereditary due to Warmothers - also traditionally - being Iceborn, which is a magical trait that is only passed down hereditarily. The requirement to be a Warmother does not include being Iceborn though it certainly helps with the real requirement of being a strong leader. Since the female role in the Freljord has been seen as one of nurturing and fierce protection, the title of Warmother is exclusively female and thus, all tribes are lead by women and usually have prominent influence throughout the Freljord.
