Wuju Order

The Art of Wuju was founded on the principle of obtaining absolute spiritual awareness of one's self and one's enemy. The Wuju Order believed their style was too sacred to share and honed the art in the isolation of the Wuju village. However, when Noxus began its invasion of Ionia, Yi could not stand idly by and used the teachings of Wuju to defend their homeland. Inspired by his actions, his fellow disciples joined him in battle. Seeing the Wuju swordsmen as a threat, Noxus retaliated, decimating the Wuju village in a single night. By the end of the war, Yi was last master of the art. He has since pledged to rebuild the order by teaching the art to new disciples.   Wuju style draws its power from the Spirit Realm, the same way the Vastayashai’rei change their shapes and manipulate the elements. The only difference is the degree of power used. It is unknown who founded Wuju style, but they were likely a remarkable mage. The heart of Wuju is magic. The heart of the Wuju school is the people who wield this magic. Every martial stance, every poem, every meditation that Wuju practitioners have studied, they all exist for the sake of this magic.   No armor can withstand attacks by master Wuju swordsmen. As long the user draws enough power from the Spirit Realm, they can sunder a mountain, a forest, or even the entire world. However, humans are limited to the amount of power they can harness from the Spirit Realm due to their weaker physical forms.   Prior to the Noxian invasion, Wuju style was closely guarded by the order, who believed the art too precious to share. After the order's decimation, Yi, the last Wuju master, was more open to sharing the teachings of Wuju, in order to rebuild the order and preserve its culture.
