Lost in the Maze
Current Date: Night of 1 Enneatyr, 994 AN (New Moon)
Logi finally got some results from his lovely reading. He able to uncover some magical secrets from the Symbol-Etched Tome, but at what cost? After a quiet week of recovery, Jeaks brought the party a couple of potential quests to full:The City Guard posted about the sighting of a Tower that only appeared during the twilight hours. The Huntsman's Memorial Gardens requested aid in dealing with an increase in disturbed spirits showing up at night. The party opted take a break from the city and investigate the tower. A half day's journey after some preparation and the party found themselves at the location on the notice and, as expected, the tower appeared at sunset. After some initial investigation - just kidding. They strolled right in, looked at the magic circle, and jumped on in (holding hands). They were somewhat separated and dropped into a hedge maze and given instructions to find the center. Shortly after they began to search, wraiths entered the maze as well and started to sporadically traverse the maze to hunt them down. While Turt and Logi (paired together at one campfire) were able to quickly find the center, the other pair (Laccaria and Sprout) and solo speedster (Agon) had a bit more trouble finding the safe spot. The two pairs eventually found out that fighting the wraiths was pointless as they would simply reappear at the nearest campfire. After some painful encounters and a lot of running, everyone eventually made it to the center to rest up and head to the next area! The next area being a large room with a draconic creature with multiple heads and a timer ticking down to prepare for it's release.
