FEB 19 - Celebration and Farewell
General Summary
What Happened?
Contrary to the previous session, this session was mostly celebratory and exploratory. Following their "noble" deed of saving the nearby village of Cordette from dying in their sleep at the hands... tentacles? of the Dreamholder, a wealthy merchant and council member of Mudtown threw a small party in their favor. The characters did some mingling with those invited into the manor for the more private affair where they did some mingling with the region's VIPs (and Marcel pushed a little too quickly at some points). Various groups vied for the party's attention trying to get the adventurers to take part in their their own offered quests, but the Souper Troopers already had one goal in mind. During the banquet, Sprout and Turt also noticed a tuft of fur from a very rare and sacred Ionian beast. But were swept away with the part (and Marcel accidentally pushing forward) and left that trail behind. ANYWAYS. They got paid by Garret Levistusson, an associate of Anaxi Zephries, and made some last calls before prepping to take Rumpadump to the Nanakatl Enclave. They left Mudtown aboard the Wailing Sailor, a ship manned by Ironbacks, to cross the seas to Bilgewater. The trip was largely uneventful aside from antics by Turt at Agon's expense. There was one peculiar day where they crossed paths with an ironclad ship, The Dreadnaught, seeking crew members, but they left that to it's own journey. Eventually, they arrived in port and were dropped off in the bay.
