Founding

Boram Darkwill took control of Noxus from his father who died unusually early. He held the usual Noxian goal of wanting to extend his borders across all Runeterra, but eventually became exceedingly paranoid and sought for ways to achieve immortality. In the end, he was deposed overnight by one of his former generals that had condemned.

Boram Darkwill took control of Noxus from his father who died unusually early. He was fairly popular among the nobles, appealing to their heritage and promising to conquer all of Valoran in his lifetime.
  Unfortunately, Darkwill became obsessed with immortality and finding the cure to his own death. He eventually ordered an invasion of the more peaceful Ionia with the hopes f ransacking any magical artifacts that could be used to help extend Darkwill's life. With each failure to find such an artifact, Darkwill became more and more desperate, pushing his generals into dire situations on every front.
  Darkwill's goals for immortality proved fruitless as the Emperor met his end at the hands of one of his generals that he had disgraced. His death marked the ending of an era and the rise of Trifarix Council.
