Alexander Afanasyev's Collected Folktales

Between 1415 and 1443, folklorist Alexander Afanasyev wrote five volumes of folktales, each volume a collection of folk stories from one of the states of Ruslavia. Alexander is currently in the process of writing his sixth and final volume, Tales from the Hoary Wastes.
