Gnome
The closest of the common species to the mystical spirits and fey of the Old Beliefs, Gnomes have their origins in the magical Forest of Frost. Most Gnomes have an zealous devotion to pursuing a single craft, profession, study or performance, which is a holdover from their Animism Ancestry.
This tendency to fixate and obsess has made Gnomes both admired for their incredible skill and shunned for their weird unorthodox interests. Gnomes have spread into most areas of Ruslavia, going where they can best pursue their individual passions. Some have spread down to Ketterzan and Moss Covia, and some have even ventured into the Cherti Mountains. A small number of Gnomes have also made their homes in the Sabrelands, and some of the darker-aligned Gnomes have been drawn to the Hoary Wastes.
