Morkovya Pot
A Morkovya Pot (literally "carrot pot") is a magical mortar and pestle. Modelled after the great witch Baba Yaga's Mortar and Pestle, several of these items are in existence, but since they are copies, they are also far less powerful.
When the Morkovya Pot is used to crush a pea-sized amount of vegetable (e.g. a chunk of carrot or a clove of garlic), it can extract the vegetable's essence. This magically expands the nutrition value of the vegetable paste to be worth a full day's worth of food for a medium creature (as if the vegetable were trail mix), although the taste is very bland. The paste also cures 1 point of damage when eaten, subject to a maximum of 8 points of such curing in any 24-hour period.
Preparing the vegetable matter in this way takes 10 minutes, and if the paste is contained in a closed vessel, it can last indefinitely without spoiling (although the maximum healing rules still apply). A normal-sized flask can hold up to 15 doses of the paste.
