The Mother of the Gods is an apocryphal character of the Orthobog religion, who appears on the basis that it is impossible to have brother gods without also having a mother god. She is considered a heresy by both the Church of the White God and the Church of the Black God.
The cattle herding Milk Drinkers who live on the shores of the Lake of Milk, believe her to be Ajysyt, the "Mother of Cradles", the spirit of motherhood and owner of the Golden Book of Fate, whose Milk has strengthening properties.
