Prince Dmitri Romanov, of the North
Prince Dmitri of the North is the middle child of the three Princes of Ketterzan. His lands border The Forest of Frost and The Sabrelands of the Winter Witches. Being constantly surrounded by pagan magic, Dmitri understands the folk traditions of the old ways far better than either of his brothers, but that doesn't mean he always likes or endorses them. Dmiti always has some kind of alcohol (usually vodka) at hand which he claims is to keep out the cold. No-one dares comment that he drinks just as indulgently when visiting the heated palace at Ketterburg.
