Alon Trisdun
Alon Trisdun (a.k.a. The Rat King)
Alon Trisdun, more commonly known as the Rat King, is a member of the Red Scars and a direct consultant to the Heroes of Reshnia. He has been a long-standing member of the Red Scars, and has helped the Heroes of Reshnia fight many foes, such as in the final battle against Takhisis. Alon has an acute control over all Rats within a certain distance and has been proven to be able to see, hear, and speak through them. While it's likely there is a limit to this ability, no upper distance or limit to the number of rats he can use his abilities on or through has yet been found. His ability also extends to other rat-like creatures, such as Dire Rats, as seen in the fight at Zhiport.
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Alon is not particularly physically strong, possibly due to his physical deformities.
Body Features
Alon's body is covered in thin, short black hairs, similar to that of a rat. He is also quite thin for a human, despite eating nearly twice as much as any other member of the Red Scars (with the notable exception being Gokeg), with noticeably visible rib bones and thin limbs.
Facial Features
Alon's face extends into a snout much like that of a rat. Beyond that, there are no unique qualities to his face, outside of the thin, short hairs that cover the rest of his body.
Mental characteristics
Personal history
Alon was a human child born in Rochdale. Due to his severe facial deformity and the association of rats with curses in Rochdale, his family was thrown out of the city. When Alon was six, his parents attempted to kill him as a way to appease the gods he believed cursed their family, but this attempt failed when his parents were caught by a pack of owlbears, allowing Alon to escape. After several years of wandering in the forest, Alon took on the title of the Rat King, learning to control the rats through magic and experimenting on his own body to give it a thin black fur similar to those he now controlled.
Employment
Alon works solely as a direct advisor to Stephen Amaria and the Red Scars as a whole.
Social
Family Ties
It is unknown if Alon has any remaining family, as his parents have both been confirmed dead by Alon himself.
Social Aptitude
Due to being outcast by society due to his looks, Alon is extremely reluctant to socialize with anyone outside of the Red Scars, and even then he is picky about who he communicates with. While he is on good terms with all of the Heroes of Reshnia, he is not on good terms with some of the newer members of the Red Scars.
Relationships
History
Skylar and Alon do not get along particularly well, but continue to be civil with each other, with Skylar having a general distrust for Alon and Alon disliking Skylar because of this distrust, along with him having worked previously with Willow Claus.
Relationship Reasoning
This relationship formed solely due to working together in the Red Scars.
History
Edil and Alon were, at some point, peers at an undisclosed magical school. They seem to have had a falling out, and though they are still willing to cooperate and speak to each other when the need arises, seem to both be completely content with never having to deal with each other again.
Wealth & Financial state
Alon has almost no wealth of his own, sending almost all of it to an unknown recipient via courier on the first day of every month. The small amount that he maintains is used for inkwells and for buying books from nearby libraries, both for his own research and for the Duskham Fort's library. Alon is paid monthly by Stephen Amaria, though Alon has insisted this isn't necessary on multiple occasions, claiming the funds would be better off serving the Red Scars.
