Purpleheart Wood

Purpleheart Wood is the wood that is harvested from a Purpleheart Tree. Its name comes from the deep purple color that the wood takes after being exposed to the sun for a decent length of time. As the wood will turn to a dark brown over time, preservation magic is often used on objects made of this wood. This not only keeps the wood's deep purple coloring, but also prevents it from rotting or being damaged, making it a popular choice for many fancier locations, such as an expensive pub or a noble's home.
