Solars

Solars are holy creatures, usually the servants of a god or goddess, who live in the upper planes of existence, especially Elysium and Mount Celestia. They are powerful creatures, capable of using strong holy magic, though they rarely interfere with the material plane unless commanded directly by their god. They are often seen wielding flaming swords or hammers, and are usually seen leading an army of clerics and paladins against the forces of evil.

Biological Traits

While they often take the form of a large, attractive human with wings, they can also take the form of humanoid beasts, often with multiple animalistic heads and tails.

Genetics and Reproduction

While solars can reproduce to create Angels, they are unable to create more solars. Solars are created directly by good aligned gods.

Solars do not age and do not have life stages like regular races.

While a solar does not need to eat or drink, they often do so for fun, creating the food using magic.

Solars are known to have intensely powerful sight and awareness, being able to detect enemies flawlessly unless such a creature is extremely powerful. They also have an innate ability to know when they are being lied to, and they have a unique magical connection to their weapons, usually a large greatsword, which allows them to control the weapon mentally.
