Metik

Metik was the first city built on Rykol, slightly north of the equator. It was created as a high tower, while the five arms were added later. The longest arm, many times longer than the other ones, points toward the equator, and was the model for most later cities.
Metik first belonged to the soraen, then fell into Vekornan hands. At the end of the Winged Wars, it was siezed by the winged Kolbs, who were eventually defeated by the wingless Kolbs. Metik was abandoned during the time of the nomadic Kolb clans, and by the time Bolob came to power, the city was populated by both Vekorna and Kolbs. It was destroyed during the war soon after, but rebuilt after humans left Rykol.
