Rubiel
Rubiel was long the capital of Rykol. Located in the north-eastern corner of the continent Nepral, it was constructed by the soraen. During the split, the veks held onto the city, but it was destroyed during the winged wars. Rebuilt during that difficult time, the veks abandoned it during the time of Alpro's instability. It lay vacant until the wingless kolbs took up residence there.
By the time the Vekorna emerged from their hiding place, after Alpro stabilized, Rubiel was once again abandoned, and they took posession of the city. It was held by the wingless Vekorna until the time of humans, and survived the war without being part of any major battles.
After Bolob left Rykol, a second winged war started, and all wingless inside Rubiel were killed. Changes to the birth chambers ensured that only winged Vekorna could be matured there.
