Aphins blade believes that every man woman and child comitts sins, however they can be cleansed of their sins trough blood offerings. Aphins blade also "cleanses" the world of sinners deemed too far gone and "demons".

Aiphins blade was created during the great crusade among the crusaders as a way to process all the slaughter at the time. The sect died out a huge bit after the great crusade ended, however it still exists.

Cosmological Views

Aphinists believe that Sodon and his evil dwells in the deep sea, however this sect believes that people are not only bound to fight evil in death but also in life.

Tenets of Faith

• Only wine that has been cleansed of its evil shall be drunk

• Do not worship other gods
• Be kind to thoose less fortunate
• Do not strike someone who have done you no harm unless they are sinners
• Do not succumb to desperation.
• Do not use the power of the dark

Those who do not follow these commandments is aiding the dark one Sodon in his escape and are thus sinners and heathens.

• Alcohol and substance abuse
• Sex outside of marriage
• Not admitting to sin
• Being greedy
• Lying to paladins
• using void magic

Worship

they often do their daily prayers as in Aphinism. Members of aphins blade believe the only way to absolve sin is with blood. The most common way they do this is by the sinner cutting their hand and giving the blood to the light / fire so that the light can cleanse their bodies and soul of the sin. The greater the sin the more blood is needed and sometimes the peron in question is so sinfull thet they need to sacrifice their lives to the light in order to be absolved of their sin.

Priesthood

Religious leaders are called paladins to differentiate them form the regular priests of Aphin. They are dressed as a normal person except that they wear a pendant of aphins blade. There are not many paladins of Aphin as there are only five of them that is known of. Theese paladins were raised as such after devoting their life to the teachings of aphins blade. They would first be members of the religion, then they would become initiates, then a novice until they then take the vows and become a full Paladin of Aphin.

Granted Divine Powers

The men who follow Aphins blade are taught light magic and how to use it in combat and worship. The prime paladin is granted clarity from Aphin and can see into the future.
