conversion to Aphins blade

Execution

The normal way of conversion will more often than not take place in a temple og Aphin's blade. The one converting will be asked if they accept aphin and the ways of aphins blade. (which they obvously will say yes to).
The convertee will then have a double sided dagger placed between their palms. The paladin will then draw it out to cut their palms. The convertee will then have to hold their bleeding hands over a brazier so that they can bleed into the fire. The Paladin will then say. "Let your sins be cleansed by holy fire. Let the lord of light cleanse you of your wrongdoings and misbeliefs. Step into his light and be loved."
the convertee will then place their hands on the metal rod in the middle to close the wounds.
The paladin will then put a salve on their hands and wrap their burnt hands in a white cloth. Whilst doing so They will say. "Let the lord of light heal your wounds, weary one. You have been cleansed by his holyness as a sign of his love for you, my child. Be always welcome in the home of his holyness."

Components and tools

What is needed for this ritual is a brazier with a metal rod in the middle, a sharp double sided blade. a white cloth and some salve.
