Hulder folk (H-ul-der)

The mountain people.

Basic Information

Anatomy

A species with two arms and two legs they look a bit like taller humans in a way. except for everything else.
hulders have very colourful hair ranging from green, blue, red, grey and white.
Most hulders have cow-like tails.

Genetics and Reproduction

having twins is the most common and the period of being pregnant is about 9 months. Hulders are born really small but then grows quickly the weeks after their birth. The most common birth defect is being born with two heads.

Ecology and Habitats

The optimal environment for hulders are dark places away from sunlight. most hulder settlements are usually in ravines and cave systems

Dietary Needs and Habits

most hulders diet consists of meat, fish and some root vegetables. sometimes they use blood as seasoning to make some food more palatable.

Most of them live in the barren lands of Ru'muar

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

The Hulders are nocturnal beings. they have good dark vision. if exposed to light that is brighter than dim lights they will get headaches. they are easily blinded by bright light.   Hulders skin has a reaction if exposed to bright lights. their skin will try to protect itself by hardening itself this can get to the extent where it gets as hard as a stone, paralysing the hulder and killing it slowly.

Civilization and Culture

History

The hulder-folk were trolls once, but because of their magic use their apperance altered over time. The trolls became smaller and weaker but ultimately smarter.
