Personal history
Orryan was born to the Tarn family which was a small family of enchanters. When the mage wars began he and his family refused the undying kings command and fled to Ametar. During the war he helped make enchanted armor and weapons. During this time he discovered that he had a certian talent for deception which he used to mislead the kings men from disrupting supplylines headed to Ametar.
After the war Orryan became an unofficial mage and one of the first members of the secret Intelligence division. He then became one of the intelligence keepers to queen Alyra under the guise as a common spellblade of the queensguard.
During his time working for the queen regent the two became quite close and over time they became lovers. Shortly before the queens daughter was to leave for Larean Orryan was made the sworn sword of the queens daughter as a part of the plan the steal the eternal flame.
