The offspring of dragons and the Sacrosian races - humans, elves, and orcs. ​

Basic Information

Anatomy

No wings, smallish horns, non-prehensile tail, draconic eyes, muted draconic skin tones, claws, can be digitigrade but not always. ​

Genetics and Reproduction

Helvyttr are only conceived with a mature, egg-laying dragon and Sacrosian genetic donor. Procreation happens in humanoid forms, and the dragon is able to conserve the genetic material for the fertilization of eggs.
Mature helvyttr procreate as their Sacrosian side does, thought they often struggle greatly with fertility. Efforts between two helvyttr tend to be more productive than with another species, and draconic characteristics may disappear within someone who is only a quarter helvyttr.

Social Structure

Helvyttr are more often raised with their draconic parents, and as such follow draconic clan structures. There are roaming bands made up of solely adult helvyttr, with elected leaders.

Helvyttr, like their draconic parents, are most often found in Errevar.

Varied, but many have natural magical aptitude.

Naming Traditions

Often have up to three names - Draconic, Common, and chosen. If an individual is only using one, they will often will use their chosen name. ​
