Vailun

The Vailun is an ethnic group whose members inhabit the region surrounding the volcanoes Tallu and Takai on Kaipei. They thrive off the land, taking advantage of natural resources in the hills to the east and the fertile fen in the west.
With metal and stone from the hills and willow wood from the wetlands, the Vailun were well-equipped to become skilled craftspeople. To this day, in crafts ranging from sculpting to bladesmithing, the Vailun are regarded as the best artisans in Saekai. Apprentices with the ambition to become the best in Saekai know that the Vailun guilds nestled in the hills of Kaipei are the best places to look.
The gods Tallu and Takai have always been the patron gods of the Vailun, and for this faith, they favored the Vailun, leading to the creation of Fallow Point. Tallu and Takai are still largely revered by most Vailun people; it is partly because of this piety that they believe Fallow Point is rightfully their land.
