In the heart of The Kirden Empire lies a library, accessible only to the highest of government officials. It contains many mystical items from times long past, with mysterious capabilities and histories that are all but forgotten.
The Grand Harp was gifted to the Kirden Empire by the Birren people during a time when the two were making an effort to make peace. It is a large cylinder, with strings carefully measured to make any sound audible to the human ear, made of a special Gimur hair which is nearly indestructible. At times, the leaders of The Department of Festivities have months or years at a time mastering it, and have produced some of the most beautiful songs ever heard.
In every generation, the lead Sight of the Kirden Empire Predicts on the world of Salkur. If they choose the path they see, they write of any information necessary to know in the Scroll of Prophecies. This information is made accessible to all who enter, as a measure for them to ensure the safety of the Kirden Empire.
