The core of the transmitter prototype houses particles that are quantumly entangled with particles housed in the Matter Transmitter Prototype. A ’reconstructor‘ converts the quantum information sent from the Transmitter back into matter. Using the ’blueprint‘ created by the de-imager, the reconstructor arranges the matter in its original form allowing for complex objects and organic material to be sent without damage or destruction.

History

The first prototype large enough to transport humans, Christopher Besson finish construction on the 4th of Dimset 2500.

Significance

The prototype marked the time that matter teleportation became viable. Although previously proven possible, the teleportation of matter was unfeasible due to extremely high energy costs. Christopher Besson developed a method which allowed his matter transmitter to operate at a fraction of the power previously required. Allowing even low-powered handheld devices to power the transmitter.
