History

Legend has it an elderly dragon fell in the battle against Tiamat. His body turned into the Jinlur Mountains, with each of his scales forming a mountain peak. 
The Jinlur Mountains have defended the Kamin for centuries.

Tourism

To reach Shi Xi, Erathis' Pass is widely considered the safest route through the Jinlurs. The frequency of travelers in the area, however, often attracts monsters looking for an unprepared snack.
