Geography

A vast ocean west of the continent. Close to shore, the waters are highly acidic, hosting no life. The further out one goes, the more acidic the waters become, making them impassable for ships.

Ecosystem

Little is known of what (still) lurks below the crashing gray waves. Schools of fish and crustaceans that once fed the nations have long since withered away.

History

Once known as the Bahaman Sea, a burst of intense magic from nowhere appeared to transform the deeper waters into highly corrosive acids. Within days, the acidic waters reached Samaryan shores. Many ships and entire underwater/island civilizations were lost forever.
