Almost always hooded, this taller elven woman makes her way to and from the Sundelier Station in the dark for the rituals that must be performed to bring Sanctuary its artificial morning. She lives somewhere in Scribe’s Rise but is a recluse. Only performing her holy rites and returning to privacy.
Amanda has been serving the city of Sanctuary as a member of the Sorority of the Sunken Sun operating the Sundelier and participating in the religious rituals of maintaining it. Although she is no cleric. She is a warlock who has made a deal with Lophiiformes - Patron of All that Sinks. Bringing light to the darkness is in alignment with Lophii's goals and method of operation. She sought him out as so many warlocks do, by seeking a direct audience.

Amanda has lived in Sanctuary for long enough to have gone through many times of intolerance and animosity towards those who wield the lantern. Seen by many to be a dark omen, a sinister cultist, or otherwise a harbinger of the horrible deep. Now she keeps to herself, and truly dedicates to her purpose. Outside of religious practices with the Sorority of the Sunken Sun she has very little social interaction. Tending towards being aloof, she often comes off as a little intense in conversation.
Those who find a common interest with her, however, may find a different side. Her socially imposed isolation has led her to delving into mysteries of the deep. Anyone who can provide insight becomes suddenly much more interesting to her.
