Veilstepper
This black faced cat is rumored to cross more than paths. She lingers around the graveyard and some have said they have seen her walk amongst the ghosts and shadows as though she was one herself. Walking elegantly across the tops of the graveyard fence, she sees the goings on of the living and the dead here. She finds it most concerting.
When people come to her as supplicants, she can be reasoned with. When offered gifts and praise she is from time to time willing to bestow her blessing. The greatest blessing a cat can give, is of course the opportunity to serve its interests. By parlaying with her and making a successful Persuasion check, one can be set on a quest.

Veilstepper has been watching Adam Shand for longer than anyone might realize. He's seen the descent of the Shand legacy and the spiral in which it seems to be in now. Veilstepper is aware of a curse upon Adam that even he himself has not detected.
