Qhevensian Courser
Documented by the famed chronicler and explorer Qheven in his novel The Adventurers of the Famous and Talented Qheven Through the Forgotten World, the courser resembles superficially resembles a horse and is found only within the Unresting Fields.
"Seeing what I thought was at first to be a herd of elven thoroughbreds having wandered from their keeper into these wild lands, I sent one of the servants to fetch the animals. Too late did I release my mistake, for the beasts fell upon the lad, tearing him limb from limb with their sickle hooves and dragging the remains beneath the sands."According to Qheven these are vicious ambush predators that rely on their resemblance to peaceful equines to lure their prey in. They are reported to particularly love the taste of humanoid flesh. Like many of the fantastic beasts the Qheven has documented, no specimen of the species was presented or found later, leading some to doubt the existence of such beasts as this.
