House Hollowbone is one of the noble houses of the Winged Woods. They are of the Hunter's Court and are currently the head House of the Court. Their words are "Honor be our Wind" and their crest is a bird of prey and mountains over a field of blue and gray.

Traits

Those of House Hollowbone tend to be honorable, loyal and honest, sometimes to a fault. They also tend to be stubborn and headstrong. For generations, House Hollowbone produces some of the finest archers and bowmen that the realm had seen.
Hollowbones resemble hawks and falcons and tend to be slightly taller in height. They commonly wear fine clothes and light armor. Knights of House Hollowbone wear cloaks of gray to act as camoflauge in the gray mountains of the Griffon Peaks. 

History

The Pecking Wars

The Hollowbones fought in the Pecking Wars for many years. In the year 280 v3, the Hollowbones captured a keep in the Griffon Peaks and declared themselves Lords of the Griffon Peaks. This title would pass throughout the Court Of Hunters for generations, but would frequently return to House Hollowbone. Rather this is due to the Hollowbones shrewd politics or a blessing from Annor is unknown.

The First Perching

The Hollowbones was not present at the First Perching, as they believed their mountain holdfast would keep them and their people safe in the Griffon Peaks. 

King Kraw Hollowbone

King Kraw Hollowbone was the Winged King during the Year 31 v4, and would be the Lord of the Griffon Peaks to bring the Hollowbones into the fold of the Winged Woods nobility after the house isolated themselves in the Griffon peaks. 

Recent Events

The Burning of Songhome

House Hollowbone would send around one hundred champions to Songhome to lead the armies that were sent there.
