Artemis Gold is an immortal elf whose family has been Fortitude nobility since the Reign of Kings. Artemis and her sole heir, Archibald head the Gold family, the wealthiest family in Saol who oversees both Vanguard Industries and the Saolan Mint. The Gold Mansion has become a sort of tourist attraction in the city of Fortitude as perhaps the largest personal residence ever built. Although only a rumor, Artemis is said to have once been a wizard of great power, and her wealth is not the only tool in her arsenal.
