The young Sultan of Paradise, Hastius Salamandra is the sole living member of the ancient Salamandra line. Having ruled since the Dark Ages, Hastius is culmination of years of complacency and forfeit of power to The Shadow Council. To the peoples of Paradise he represents a sheltered disconnected life, and garnishes little respect. However his existence is perfect as a curtain for the true Paradisian rulers.
