Built around Niselion , the city was almost exclusively inhabited by elves. Now, hundreds of thousands of elves live inside the walls of Elternriel. Very few non-elves live in Eltenriel, feeling out of place in a city whose residents are all longer lived than they can ever hope to be. The remnant aura of Niselion causes all who rest in the city to age much slower than they would otherwise, including the elves who already were gifted longer life because of Niselion's presence.
