Chateau Saint Valery
A small medieval castle long fallen to ruin in the modern day. Once it defended the Somme's mouth, now it sits as a tourist attraction.
But for a time, in the warmer months of 1553, the castle was home to a seemingly immortal Vampire - Emma Valgard. Emma ruled in disguise as the Lady Emma of the House of Normandy, namesake of Emma of Normandy and descendant of William the Conqueror who used that same castle as his base of operations for the invasion of 1066. Coincidentally, the launch of the Norman Invasion of England is still celebrated up through to modern times!
