Melisende
Melisende was a french peasant taken by mercenaries as a camp-girl at 13. That was three years and seven "owners" ago. Somewhere down the line she became a slave, the property of one owner or another. She purposefully forgets which. Eventually she came here, to the inn where she serves as a kitchen-girl during the day and a snack for vampires at night. She knows that her life is a pit of misery and she has no reason to go forward other than her fear of dying and becoming one of the monsters that feeds on her at night.
