Valgard Family

Born from an enterprising son of a fish-trader from Germany and his love for an Icelandic farmer's daughter, the Valgard Family begins as little more than a fishing family in the beginning.

  • It begins with Eckhart and Ima Valgard, who have seven children, four of whom survive to adulthood.
  • Their Eldest, Jormundur, marries Thorra in 1544 and have a boy.
  • In 1546 Thorra has triplet girls.
  • In 1549 Thorra has another boy.
  • The Twins Eric and Emma marry the twins Julianne and Julian and both couples have children in 1545. Emma has twin boys on December 11th. Julianne has a girl on November 25th.
  • Their Youngest, Saga marries Knut Jonnson in 1544 and has twins in the autumn of 1545 - a boy and a girl.
  • In 1550 Saga has another girl
  • In 1552 Saga has a boy.
  • In 1553 Saga has a girl.
  • In 1559 Saga has twins, a boy and a girl.
