Born from an enterprising son of a fish-trader from Germany and his love for an Icelandic farmer's daughter, the Valgard Family begins as little more than a fishing family in the beginning.
It begins with Eckhart and Ima Valgard, who have seven children, four of whom survive to adulthood.
Their Eldest, Jormundur, marries Thorra in 1544 and have a boy.
In 1546 Thorra has triplet girls.
In 1549 Thorra has another boy.
The Twins Eric and Emma marry the twins Julianne and Julian and both couples have children in 1545. Emma has twin boys on December 11th. Julianne has a girl on November 25th.
Their Youngest, Saga marries Knut Jonnson in 1544 and has twins in the autumn of 1545 - a boy and a girl.
In 1550 Saga has another girl
In 1552 Saga has a boy.
In 1553 Saga has a girl.
In 1559 Saga has twins, a boy and a girl.
